Beethoven Symphony No. 7
One of the best pieces of music ever. Listen at least twice. Doctor's orders.
yes, i would like some cheese with this whine...
Even though my stomach won't be happy with it. The sick continues... Now my stomach's upset. I went to a doctor yesterday to get drugs for the not-so-great breathing I was experiencing, and now I have them and that's great but I learned that they don't mix so well with the dairy. Or with ice cream, anyhow. Just thought I'd complain a little.

under the weather...
It always strikes me as strange that days can pass when you feel sick and it feels like no time at all. The last I really remember was that it was Tuesday and Adam took Chloe and me to the vet for Chloe's anti-itchy shot. I had sneezed a few times the day before and had a little runny nose that day. And then all of a sudden, it's Friday and I've been in bed for two days running a fever and probably hallucinating away the time. Golly gee.
Anyhow, I'm feeling much better today, still kind of sniffly and woozy, and a pretty solid cough remaining, but I'm back up and realizing that there's much to be done! I've got a few more weeks to prep for moving, and so much to get done, and it all has to be done without Betty. Yes, Betty has moved on in the world. She was a good car for me, but it was time. It's comforting to know that if I miss her or my soon to be old residence, I can always admire them on GoogleMaps streetview. Ah, the comfort of technology...

oly trip
Hey, folks! I'm back from Oly-town. I had a marvelous trip and enjoyed the brisk weather, knowing that it will be much colder when I return in December. One highlight was getting to see (and potentially rent) an apartment right down the street from AD&K. In this picture you can see a little of it in the right hand corner. (darn trees get in the way!) Thats AD&K's to the left. The picture was taken in their front yard.
This photo shows the house up a little closer. I'd be in the basement, which is windowed enough to make me happy.
This one is of the garage/private entrance to the apartment, taken from the opposite side of the house, looking back towards AD&K's. I'd get to store my bike in the garage with the homeowner's, which would be super nice.
And a last little fun picture that turned out waaay dark, but is still cute is of Kaia. I was packing Friday night and she wanted to know why. When I told her I was going back to California, she decided that she wanted to come with me, then proceeded to climb into the suitcase, stuffed animals in tow, and closed the lid so she could come along. Sweet, eh?
So. It was a great trip, lots of wandering and trying to get the lay of the land better, and such on and so forth. I even drove a bit when A made me take the car and drive around in it. That actually really helped it make sense.
Now it's back to the 'No and packing and sorting and eventually saying good-bye.
