tribute...

to a Gee's Bend quilt; made in recycled silk. Just a quilt top for now. Will make for a nice wall hanging. Let's start the bidding...

And Sarah loving her blankie, although I'm amazed I got a shot of her with the quilt top showing rather than the horses. She likes that side better.
Busy, busy times here. For those of you who may not have heard, my mom has been ill with acute pancreatitis, which has complicated itself into a pancreatic pseudocyst, which will need surgery to correct. It will be a long road back to full health, but I am inspired by her will and positive attitude throughout the ordeal. Love you mom!
