I took Chloe to the vet today for her eosinophillic granuloma issue (aka itchy belly sores) and learned that in addition to just plain acting older and kinda senile, Cho-cho has dropped nearly a pound and a half, and is now a teeney 7.2 pounds. I was looking at pictures of her to see if I could tell the difference, and it shows. The picture above is about two years old, and below is last week.
Maybe it's just something I see, but her coat is scruffier, and her back haunches are skinnier.Amanda and I were talking about Chloe being sick (she's also been regurgitating food) and Kaia overheard us, prompting a "why things get old and die" conversation, spoken at a three-year-old level. Not easy to understand. Then or now...
